Andrew was born and raised in Colorado where his love of wild places was instilled at a young age. After 12 years in the military, he began horse guiding in many of the most remote parts of the Rocky Mountains. "No hour of life is wasted that is spent in the saddle"

  • Gwyn Knight

Gwyn spent her childhood exploring the wilderness of Southern Arizona on horseback. It was here she found her love of wild places. As a member of the youngest generation of the Clover family, she is continuing the family tradition of horsemanship and colt starting. Gwyn loves sharing the Wyoming backcountry through her roles as a wrangler and the guest experience coordinator for Wilderness Trails.

  • Hunter Kirchner

Hunter was born and raised in Wyoming. As long as he’s been walking, he’s been riding horses. From a very young age, Hunter has packed and explored the mountains. He loves to hunt and fish, but most of all loves being in the saddle in the backcountry.

  • Robin Clover

Robin Clover started her career at 19 at her family’s guest ranch in Turpin Meadows. After she married Tom Clover in 1985, she supported the operations of Wilderness Trails under his management. Robin was also the executive director of a nonprofit for 21 years. Her most recent honor was a lifetime achievement award from the Wyoming Coalition against Domestic Violence, Sexual Assualt, and Stalking. Robin retired in April 2022 to bring her financial and management expertise to Wilderness Trails Outfitters.

  • Tom Clover

Tom Clover was born in Jackson Hole in 1955 and was raised in the backcountry of Wyoming by his mother and father, Elise and George Clover. In 1963, George and Elise began operating what is now known as Wilderness Trails Outfitters at Sheffield Creek. Tom began working with his father at age 7 and in 1984, Tom and his brother Galloway purchased Wilderness Trails from their father. Tom managed the operation with his family until 2014. After his brother’s death in 2021, Tom returned to Sheffield Creek to manage the operation.

  • Melissa Clover

Melissa grew up in the Pacific Northwest as a young adult and spent several years on a small ranch in California riding and learning many disciplines. She has continued her horsemanship throughout her many travels and homes around the western states. She is passionate about preserving a legacy and tradition here in the mountains alongside her husband, Thomas, family, and dear friends. “There is no better way to experience and explore than on horseback”

  • Brad Parker

When he’s not at Wilderness Trails, Brad can be found guiding wildlife, backpacking, and fly-fishing tours with his business Teton Wilderness Tours.

  • Gracie Gundlach

Born and raised in Eastern Washington, Gracie developed a love of animals and the outdoors at a young age. She has been riding for as long as she can remember, trying many different disciplines and improving her horse handling skills. Some of her favorite memories were made on horseback with her family and friends. She is passionate about facilitating those memories for others at Wilderness Trails!
