Book July 10th - 12th

Meet your Host!

I’m Andrea. I’m 37, a nurse, and a mom. I work full time, read a lot, and love adventure, travel, and meeting new people. I’m big on real connections and experiences, the kind that stay with you long after they are over.

Through her platform, Andrea connects readers around shared stories, thoughtful discussion, and the joy of getting lost in a good book. Andrea brings that same sense of community and connection into this retreat, creating space for readers to come together in person around books, conversation, and time spent outdoors.

Itinerary

July 10th - 12th, 2026

Your experience begins at base camp at Wilderness Trails Outfitters, where the group will arrive, settle in, and get oriented to the camp and surrounding landscape. From there, days are shaped around reading, riding, and time spent outdoors in Yellowstone country. Participants will ride horseback to scenic overlooks, spend quiet hours reading in meadows and along the creek, and return to camp for shared meals and relaxed conversation.

Throughout the retreat, reading and community are the central focus. Time is intentionally set aside each day for uninterrupted reading in natural settings, paired with informal book discussions and group connection. The retreat is led by Andrea Phifer, a book enthusiast and creator who brings her online reading community together in person. Andrea will be present throughout the retreat, guiding conversations, sharing her love of books, and fostering meaningful connection among participants.

What you can expect to walk away with:

• Extended, uninterrupted time to read in outdoor settings rarely accessible to the public
• Genuine connection with fellow readers through shared discussion and camp life
• A slower pace that allows for rest, presence, and enjoyment of the setting
• The experience of reading in Yellowstone country, supported by guided horseback travel
• A sense of inspiration and connection built through books, nature, and community

This retreat is intentionally small to create a personal, relaxed atmosphere. Time is spent riding, reading, eating together, and enjoying camp life in a quiet, remote setting that supports connection, focus, and time away from everyday routines.
